Today we went to Bosnia and Herzegovina on a tour, here’s what happened.

First we had to get up early and we weren’t that good at keeping track of the time and we almost missed the van. Then we started our drive to Herzegovina where our guide told us about Croatia, Bosnia, and Yugoslavia. I didn’t pay much attention though. Soon after we arrived at the freezing cold waterfalls.

I went for a swim but I got brain freeze after a bit so I got out. Then we got back in the car and we went to Mostar to do some sightseeing. But first we had to have lunch. We got a bunch of food but it started with soup. I thought the soup was the main because I was so full after eating it but apparently not. Then we saw the bridge and we stuck around for a bit to see if anyone would jump off. No one did.

Then Miles chucked a tantrum because he had “heatstroke”. Then we went to go down under the bridge to stick our feet in the water. It was freezing. Then we got gelato and we went back in the van. After a brief stop at Ston for oysters and a stop at the bridge for photos we arrived back. Then we did some cliff jumping. From there we just chilled out until it was time to go to bed.

Korčula was really nice and here are my ratings of where we went and what we did.

The aqua park ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The aqua park was really fun for tips and they even had water polo, soccer, and volleyball. The reason it’s not five stars is cause I got injured a lot.

Lunch ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was very tasty and I had mussels. Yum.

Bike ride ⭐⭐⭐

Very hot but worth it to go to the beach and get 6 geocaches.

Asian fusion restaurant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very tasty nigiri and good miso + steamed rice.

So we have been on holiday for about three weeks now. What has been your favourite place so far?

Sonia

I don’t have any specific favourite. There have been lots of nice memories, like meeting Scott in Malmö and seeing the family in Italy. The big mountains and just seeing all the different sceneries and towns has been very nice.

What was your favourite accommodation?

Sonia

Our apartment in the Dolomites was a pleasant surprise, and the Adlers Hotel in Innsbruck was also very fancy.

What was your favourite thing to see?

Sonia

I’m not sure. Maybe the north part of Lake Garda.

Why?

Sonia

It had beautiful big mountains next to the sparkling lake. It’s nice to see it in real life after looking at so many pictures.

What would you do if you could change one thing about the trip?

Sonia

Has this trip been better or worse that our trip from two years ago?

Sonia

It has been very different. We have moved around more, seen a lot more stuff and visited more places, but that has made it way more tiring!

Today we went on a boat tour across some islands in Croatia.

First we went to the blue lagoon (Budikovac) for a dip and it was beautiful, then we went to Stiniva where you had to swim to the beach! This beach was voted most beautiful beach in Europe in 2016. It was where a part of Mamma Mia was filmed.

Soon after that we arrived at the Green Cave where there was a hole in the ceiling and there was a ray of light poking in and it would usually cost 12 Euros per person but they weren’t there. We had to skip the blue cave because of rough tides.

After that we went to Vis town where we had lunch and I got a piping hot lasagne.

Then we went to find a geocache which was successful. By the time all that was done we arrived back at the boat with minutes to spare.

Then we went to a military submarine tunnel… it wasn’t deep enough to fit a submarine and it was rarely used. Boatman taught us some stuff about WW2 and about Yugoslavia.

Then we went to our final destination - Milini - which is in an archipelago of 16 to 20 islands depending on the tide.

Sadly all good thing must come to an end and that’s how it felt saying goodbye to boatman.

Today we got up and watched the socceroos win two nil against Türkiye. Then we went on a walk to a beach to hire pedalos but boatman wasn’t there when he said he was supposed to, so we had a swim. After a long wait we went on the pedalo and they had a slide! We slid down the slide a lot of times and we also did some pedalling. Once Miles got bored so he went on top of the slide and pretended to be the prime minister but then I overthrew the government.

Then we walked back to our accommodation and we decided where to go for lunch. Miles and I had mussels and mummy had a salad and daddy had mini sausages. Then we went for a walk around the old town and got ice cream.
