Heading to Italy
After an early stop-off at Feinbäckerei (4.8 ⭐), we grab a train over the border to Italy. Finally, a chance to practice my Italian!
Except… “Hallo” is the greeting from 90% of people here. Apparently Südtirol is a German region, which might explain why we are staying in Wolkenstein In Gröden.
We pick up our Fiat 600 from Bolzano Aeroporto (Bozen Flughafen) and head up into the Dolomites.

A quick stopover at Lago di Carezza (Karersee)
In Ortisei (Sankt Ulrich) we pay €220 for one chairlift up the mountain. I hope it’s worth it!

The view was worth it
Tomorrow… Sellaronda Bike Day!
